We were not meant to live life alone. We were meant to live in community. So much good stuff happens when we step into knowing others and being known. Check out how you can get connected into community at DCC.
If you are looking to get connected at DCC then the Garage is the place for you. Every Sunday morning it’s full of friendly people who will answer your questions, find places for you to serve, and help you get connected in groups. It’s open after each service and is located next to the cafe.
If it’s your first time to DCC, we would love to get to know you, answer any questions that you have and give you a gift for being our guest.
Communities are an easy first step into…well…community at DCC. They are larger groups of people that gather around things that they have in common. They host different events, launch groups and organize different activities.
Serving at DCC allows you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Serving is a tangible way to live your life on mission and help rescue people, but serving isn’t just for other people. It will benefit you too. Some of the most meaningful relationships and communities at DCC have developed as a direct result of people serving together.
Our serving strategy is three-fold—in the church, in the community, in the world. We have plenty of places for you to serve in the church on a Sunday morning, but we also have opportunities to serve outside the walls in our community and across the world through short-term missions.
So we hope that you will jump on mission with us and be a part of the rescue that is happening in this place.
Sunday mornings are great but we believe that life change happens best in the context of a smaller community. Ultimately our dream is for everyone to be part of a thriving group in which they are making lasting friendships and becoming more and more like Jesus. We have three different types of groups, Open, Short-Term and Life, with their own specific purposes.
