Thanksgiving Dinners

We All Love Thanksgiving!

Spending quality time with family and friends, watching the Lions and the Cowboys lose, and especially eating Thanksgiving dinner. But what we probably don’t realize is, there are many families in our city who won’t get a Thanksgiving dinner this year because they can’t afford it.

That is why we are partnering with Crossfire Ministries again this year to provide Thanksgiving dinners those families. To do that we need your help. To find out how you can get involved go to metooplace.com/turkeys. Let’s show the love of Jesus with no strings attached and make this a very special Thanksgiving for so many families.

Two ways you can help
Bring A Turkey To Church Day

November 13th and 20th are “Bring a Turkey to Church Day” at DCC. Our goal is to collect 500 Turkeys in order to help 500 families in need. If every family at DCC brings in at least one Turkey we will meet our goal. So bring a turkey with you to church on November 13th or 20th and let’s show the love of Jesus with no strings attached to 500 families.

Crossfire Serve Days

On November 12th and 19th we are helping Crossfire Ministries put together the rest of the food that they will be providing in addition to the Turkeys. Space is limited so get signed up for one of the 3 hour shifts ASAP. Lunch will be provided. We hope that you will be a part of showing the love of Jesus with no strings attached.
